Welcome to the Blog!

Hello out there to anyone and everyone who has made their way to my first blog post!

This is completely new to me, but something I've been wanted to give a go...so here goes nothing!

Being a photographer, (not just a wedding photographer) my eyes see things everyday that sometimes I would find more interesting than others would. Some days I have small adventures and have little stories to tell along with my images, and some days I just want to post and say hey, check out what I saw today. Just giving a brief insight as to what you'll be seeing here on this page!

Wedding season is among us right now so be prepared to see lots of love and joyous couples. This is my second season completely on my own as a wedding photographer (employed and photographing weddings on the side since 2012)  and I could not be more excited to take on this year. I've been investing a lot of time in learning more about posing, lighting, ways to make client experience better. I don't want to toot my own horn, but I am very proud of myself for taking the leap of faith to make this career move. If you have something in your life that you are passionate about, and you're excited to be that person who has that special gift please don't be afraid to chase it. Go after it. The feeling is so rewarding and liberating that you'll just crave to push harder.  I finally feel like I know who I am as a person, I know my calling, who I am meant to be, the type of person I want to strive to be all because I took that leap of faith.  Attract what you want by being what you want. I really made the mental mind switch when I stopped saying I was a product photographer whenever I met new people. I started saying, "I'm a wedding photographer". Boy let me tell you, once I started making that chance mentally it was only a matter of weeks before I said sayonara to my e-commerce job.

All I'm saying is (with my hands up in the air and a slight shoulder shrug) don't be afraid to go after your dreams, follow your heart and let it guide you to your best version of YOU.

Go ahead and shine! You were meant for it.

With Love,
