January 19th, 2019
Now that I am finally able to blog, I will be sharing some weddings throughout my 2019 season. This wedding that I photographed for Jess & Katherine was the first of 2019 and it was one that I'll never forget. There was a snow storm coming our way and I was honestly rather nervous about how the day was going to unfold. I had my intern, Larissa coming to photograph the wedding with me and I was anxious about her traveling in the weather. I received a text from Jess the day before asking if we could move up the wedding coverage from 1-9pm to 9am-5pm. We wanted to beat the storm, so we went to their hotel early in the morning for their details and to get them to the church for their ceremony. It was such a beautiful and emotional ceremony, I'm pretty sure there wasn't a dry eye in the place! Following the ceremony we made our way to the Sussex County Fair Grounds for their reception. Their bridal party braved the cold weather to get some gorgeous photos before drinking and partying the night away! Towards the end of their reception it started snowing pretty hard and we all made it out just in time! The most beautiful part about their wedding day was the commitment that their friends, family, and vendors showed to pull this together for Jess & Katherine despite the storm that was headed straight for us. No matter what happens, I will pull through for your wedding day!!!
